Neither of us come from a farming background - as a matter of fact, Andrew is from Detroit so he’s more accustomed to things that go vroom than neigh - but we’ve found our passion and are so excited to share it with the Richmond community.

We purchased our farm in 2020 as a way to get out of our tiny Church Hill apartment during the height of the pandemic. Chickens were our gateway farm animal, and it turned out that they have a LOT of personality and sass. The only way to up the ante at that point was to get goats, and our menagerie just kept growing from there! Today we have alpacas, goats, and chickens, as well as two Maremma sheepdogs to keep everyone safe.

Our indoor cats, Ziggy and Freya, are the original specklebellies, and would be quite insulted if we didn’t mention them.
